How do I book an appointment?
Booking your appointment is seamless with Fresha. Simply click the link on the Contact & Book page to register your details and explore my diverse range of rejuvenating therapies, customised to fit your preferences and time schedule. If you're already registered, effortlessly select your desired therapy with just a few clicks. New clients – if you are unsure about which therapy is the most suitable, then please drop me a message first.
Where is The Zen Zone Holistic Therapies based?
The Zen Zone is based within my home in the township of Hampton Vale in Peterborough. I have a dedicated space with my home, in a safe, cosy and relaxing environment. The full address is on the Contact & Book page as well as Fresha.
What are the opening hours?
Opening hours are as follows:
Monday – 10 am – 7 pm
Tuesday – 10 am – 8 pm
Wednesday – 10 am – 7 pm
Thursday – 10 am – 8 pm
Friday - Closed
Saturday – Fortnightly 9 am - 12 pm
Sunday - Closed
What shall I expect on arrival?
Please arrive promptly for your appointment time, no earlier as I may still have a client or preparing my space for you. Please park either at the front of my home or opposite and I will greet you at the front door. I do have two little beagles, however, there is always a dog gate in situ so they will not impact your experience. They may bark to say hello. If you have any concerns around dogs, please message me beforehand. Once inside, you will be directed swiftly into my cosy Zen Zone.
Is a consultation required?
A consultation is required for all new clients where I will establish the reason for your appointment, any particular concerns, a brief medical history and what you are hoping to achieve. For regular clients, I will always have a quick check in with you to ensure nothing has changed since your last appointment. If you have a particular medical condition, please let me know in advance so any adjustments can be made. Similarly if you are pregnant, please let me know asap. I am only able to treat ladies in their second or third trimester.
What should I wear to the appointment?
As a rule, please wear comfy, loose fitting clothing, regardless of the therapy you are having. This will help with ease of removal and also help you to feel more relaxed. Please do ensure you are wearing underwear (pants) for each appointment. You will be given privacy to change and should you feel uncomfortable or exposed at any time, please let me know. A massage can be an incredibly intimate experience and I will endeavour to do all I can to ensure your experience is dignified, calm, relaxed and stress-free.
What does the treatment time include?
Your treatment duration encompasses the entirety of your experience with me. For example, if you book a one-hour session, this includes time for a brief consultation, your therapy session, relaxation period, aftercare, and the time needed for changing. The only exception is for new client consultations, which are scheduled in addition and do not cut into your allocated treatment time.
What methods of payment are accepted?
A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking via Fresha. For the remaining payment, I can charge your card directly or if you prefer, I am happy to accept cash. Please try to ensure you have the correct cash. You may settle payment before or after your therapy. Sometimes settling payment before ensures you can enjoy your therapy and then leave in a state of bliss safe in the knowledge that payment has been made.
What is the cancellation policy?
To cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. A 50% cancellation fee applies to appointments cancelled within this timeframe, while a 100% fee is charged for no-shows. If you need to reschedule, please use my Fresha platform to make the necessary adjustments. Your 10% deposit is non-refunable.
How often should you have a treatment or therapy with me?
The frequency of treatments depends on the type of therapy and your budget. However, to uphold your holistic health and wellness, I recommend scheduling regular monthly treatments.
How can I leave a review?
After your appointment is 'checked out,' you will receive an emailed invoice along with a link to share your experience and provide a star rating on Fresha. Your reviews help me to continually improve your experience at The Zen Zone.
